Hands-on timetable workshop
This two day workshop allows the timetabler to start entering the school timetable by ensuring all core data is set up and then enter their curriculum plan. Curriculum planning is all about ensuring you can translate your schools curriculum into the appropriate structures that will facilitate scheduling within the parameters of the school.
The workshop is a mixture of theory and implementing knowledge on the school data. The majority of the two days will be spent working on your school data.

- Ensuring timetabling data is correct
- Defining the school day
- Defining timetabling restictions and constraints
- Implementing appropriate timetable structures
- Work with expert help on hand
Audience
- Timetablers who are using Facility Scheduler to create their school timetable.
- Timetable assistants who are supporting the main timetabler.
Prerequisite
- Timetabler must bring their own laptop.
- The timetabler will need to have a local copy of Facility Admin and Faciity Scheduler installed on their laptop.
- A backup of data to be restored in 'Access' on the laptop.
- Clear curriculum diagram available, preferably printed out.
Notes
The date specified is the first date of the two day workshop.
