Hands-on timetable workshop
Start Scheduling your timetable is a follow on from the Start Curriculum planning workshop. This workshop focuses on checking and testing your curriculum plan to allow for manual and automatic scheduling.
The workshop is a mixture of theory and implementing knowledge on the school data. The majority of the two days will be spent working on your school data.

- How to manually timetable
- How to fix and lock lessons
- How to validate and check your curriculum 'fits'
- How to use the auto-scheduler
- Work with expert help on hand
Audience
- Timetablers who are using Facility Scheduler to create their school timetable.
- Timetable assistants who are supporting the main timetabler.
Prerequisite
- Timetabler must bring their own laptop.
- The timetabler will need to have a local copy of Facility Admin and Faciity Scheduler installed on their laptop.
- A backup of data to be restored in 'Access' on the laptop.
- Clear curriculum diagram available, preferably printed out.
Timetabler has completed the 'Start Curriculum Planning workshop' and completed all curriculum related tasks.
Notes
The date specified is the first date of the two day workshop.
