Getting to understand timetabling concepts
The New to School Timetabling workshop is an excellent two days where new timetablers or aspiring timetablers can attend and learn the concepts and building blocks of school timetabling.
Much of the two days is discussing in small groups different aspects of timetabling, role of the timetabler and analysis of different types of curriculums.
By the end of the workshop you will be well equipped to embrace the challenge of creating a school timetable.

Prerequisite
No previous knowledge of timetabling required, although understanding of the school environment would help. By this an appreciation of subjects taught in different year groups and how students are grouped/divided for subjects.
